Steam trains to ride again in Ruddington

HERITAGE steam trains are to run down the nine-mile Great Central Railway in Notts.

Visitors can travel along the tracks from the new platform at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre, next to Rushcliffe Country Park in Ruddington, to Loughborough Junction on February 13, 14, 20 and 21.

Trains will depart at 11am, 1pm and 3pm on all four days, with fares £8 for adults and £4 for children.

A special offer allowing children accompanied by an adult to travel for free will be running on February 13 and 20.
