THE Clash of Warriors 'Face Off' show at the Victoria LC got off to a bad start when John Graham pulled out 10 minutes before getting into the cage with Carl Booth. The Nottingham man was declared the winner by default.

Fortunately, Tim Butler's draw with Pole Damian Zlotnicki, refereed by Jim Wallhead, was a real crowd pleaser.

Subaig Singh had a big following from the Liberty Gym and delighted them by beating Juris Davidovs, from Latvia, by an arm bar in the first round.

Mansfield's Ben Rose also faced Latvian opposition. He handed out heavy punishment to Vadim Shpakov, but had to be satisfied with a points win.

Hot prospect Chris Flanders (Nottingham School of Thai Boxing) marked his pro MMA debut with a first round win over Marios Konstandi (Cyprus).

Popular Pete McGurk (Bushido Academy) made short work of Aleksandrs Trushins.

The Latvian had McGurk pinned up against the side of the cage. But, in a brilliant move, McGurk managed to get an arm bar.

Ricky Gammon also had a first-round win. He beat Richard Jones (Manchester) on a rear naked choke after 2 mins 2 secs.

Gammon's Rough House team-mate Eddie Podolski, took just 35 seconds to choke out Nikita Petroves from Riga.

Scott Jackson (Hyde) bt Anthony Wainwright (Pudsey) rear naked choke 1st; Johnny Gallian (Ashby-de-la-Zouch) bt Dan Watkins (Loughborough) TKO 2; Jason Kubiak (Milton Keynes) bt Leigh Cohoon (Stalybridge) disq 1st; Craig Chesters (Audenshaw) bt Danny Mack (Northampton) unanimous; Paul Gardner (Manchester) bt Kalvis Gebauers (Latvia) TKO 1; Lee Johnson (Manchester) bt Will Jackson (Cambridge) armbar 1st.
