TOP Spot moved to within six points of Division One leaders BCI 'E'lites after a 5-0 whitewash of SE Derbyshire SC.

Mick Walker got them off to a flying start with a 82-9 win over Danny Laurence.

Dave Milner beat D Muir 56-36 and Chris Needham beat L Jones 65-45.

Steve Needham completed the rout with a 42-35 win over Jack Daykin.

Spot On (Hucknall) moved up a place with an emphatic 5-0 win over Sherwood SC A.

Malc Grocock started things off with a 68-39 win over previously unbeaten Lee Crombie.

A 54 break helped Gee Ashurst beat Wayne Bilbie 99-34 and a couple of 20 breaks by Daz Clark clinched the third frame against Brendon Murtagh 80-39.

Adam Goodall had a 44 break in his 94-12 success against Ant Scarborough.

City Hospital LC stay fifth after a 4-1 win against Carlton LC. Chris Clark got City Hospital off to a good start with a 68-57 win over Danny Di Folco. Gaz Morrison had a couple of 'flukes' to win his match against Bob Walker, who started with a 25 break, by 67-37 to put City Hospital LC 2-0 up.

Andy Ball took a frame back for Carlton LC with a 60-31 win against Paul Wrathal, but Glenn Price beat Bob Wright 57-32.

Ruddington CC stay top of Division Two despite their match with Sherwood SC D being postponed.

This should have enabled Mapperley CC to move above them, but with only a 3-2 win against Sherwood SC B it leaves them a point behind in second spot.
