Basford managers Chris Munroe and Andy Benner were at the helm at Wollaton when the WSA outfit won back-to-back NSL titles in the first two seasons of the competition.
Former Wollaton players Garry Willows, Mark Hart, Ash McPherson and Paul Gadsby all followed them to Greenwich Avenue.
United have had a mixed start to the season with both of their defeats being narrow ones. They welcome back keeper Mark Beaumont and skipper Mark Dimech into their squad, which is missing Hendry and Oakes.
Basford: Grayling, Beaumont, Willows, Knapzyk, Best, Dimech, Hart, McPherson, Bowers, D Walker, Palmer, Bennett, Gadsby, Duffey, K Walker, Manders
Wollaton have established a five-point lead at the top of the table, winning all four of their games so far, three of these by the odd goal and twice coming from behind to do so.
They have a number of injury doubts, particularly in defence, though James Turner and Chris Driffel have built a strong squad over the summer and will shuffle the pack accordingly. Striker Danny Chaplin is likely to be out until the end of the year with a knee problem.
Wollaton: Worster, Barker, Bannister, Gallivan, Shread, Murray, Marks, Beck, Hawkes, Howard, Standage, Scott, Huckerby, Hamed, M Turner, Hogg, B Turner, Sharp
Unbeaten GSB entertain Boots at Carlton Hill. The Chemists welcome back Tom Winch and Chris Hutchinson as they go in search of three straight wins, although players could be released to the reserves for match practice with Wayne Miles likely to select an unchanged side for the third game running. Skipper Kevin Forde is unavailable.
GSB: Leavesley, Scott, Hayes, Graham, Steele, Reedman, Elliot, Whittle, Gee, Clowery, Harte, Milbourne, Rhodes, Hallam, Allcock.

Hucknall Rolls Leisure, who formed from the ashes of Bestwood MW and went unbeaten in winning the NSL's first division last season, tasted league defeat for the first time in their new guise at GSB last week and will be keen to bounce back at Linby CW tomorrow.
Jez Corthorn is without Murray and Hodgson but includes a dual registered signing from Teversal, Chay Betteridge, who comes straight into the squad. Three of Rolls' squad – midfielders Niblett and Wallis, plus defender Paterson – are ex-Linby, which is sure to add spice to this local derby.
Hucknall Rolls leisure: Waters, Paterson, Lancaster, S Hulme, Harrison, Sheriff, Niblett, Wallis, Marlow, Lee, Wass, Potter, Greeley, Marshall, Poole, Betteridge
Another derby sees Pelican make the short trip across the river to play on Clifton's excellent new pitch at Green Lane. New All Whites boss Scott Thomson has battled hard to build a new side and the early signs are good but Pelican will provide a stern test.
Clifton: Carlisle, Thomson, Hardy, Hartshaun, Gibson, Legget, Bland, Murphy, Baker, Kill, Astill, Smith, Mitchell, Carver, Kirkby, Robinson, Langsdale.
Former All Whites player-manager Kev Waddley, who left Clifton in the summer for Carribbean Cavs along with brother Chris, is in BP's much changed squad for the game after both brothers cut short their stay at Cavs after just a couple of games.
Pelican have signed Chris Najuk on a short-term basis from Arnold to cover for absent keeper Johnson, while Corey Bowler has also moved to Lenton Lane. New BP boss Darren Saunders also has high hopes for striker Matt Eastwood who has returned after a spell with Radford.
Bilborough pelican: Najuk, Boulton, Foss, Dexter, Henshaw, Hunt, Rankin, Bowler, Allen, Gadsby, Eastwood, K Waddley, C Waddley, Russell, Chambers, Staley.
