It's you, not us, who are boring?
When RL Cooper complains of people leading boring lives because they scan the Nottingham Post to criticise his letters, he is really describing himself, for that's exactly what he has been doing to others for years.
But his plea to his critics to drop him as a subject proves that although he can dish it out, he obviously can't take the return flak.
Like others, I find his letters vacuous, contradictory, hypocritical and rambling.
The same can now be said for Eric Goodyer, who is fast becoming bore number two, with his same old repetitive rants on his only subject: Europe.

“
Just what purpose did your letter serve Mr Falconbrige?
It was a complete negative.
Carpers are just what Totalitarian Regimes love to recruit.
Ditto, with only a light sprinkling of paranoia to add a little entertainment value.”

“Here we go again.
I think the letters page has gone rather down hill recently as a result of these kind of letters.”
