SOAP stars Matthew Wolfenden and Andy Whyment will be coming to Nottingham when the Dancing On Ice Live Tour 2012 skates into the Capital FM Arena.

Emmerdale's Wolfenden and Coronation Street's Whyment will join Sugababe singer Heidi Range, X Factor singer Chico and reigning Dancing on Ice champion and actor Sam Attwater on the tour, which comes to the city from April 20 to 22.

Each show will again feature comments and a performance by ice dance legends Torvill and Dean, who will also be choreographing the celebrities' routines for the tour.

Wolfenden, who plays David Metcalfe in Emmerdale, will team up with skating partner Nina Ulanova, who are the front-runners to win the ITV1 series.

Whyment is known for playing Kirk Sutherland in Coronation Street and Darren in The Royle Family, for which he won a British Soap Award in 2003.

As a member of the Sugababes, Range has performed at some of the UK's biggest music venues. She'll be joined by skating partner Andrei Lipanov on the tour. Chico will team up with Jodeyne Higgins.

Attwater is the former EastEnders actor who won the series last year and he returns to the tour with skating partner Brianne Delcourt.

The sixth annual tour will once again feature new performances. Audiences will be able to vote for their favourite celebrity skater via text. The votes will be combined with the votes from the judging panel to decide the overall winner at each show.

All the profits from the text votes go to charity.

£106,475 has been raised so far for the Royal London Society For The Blind and Demelza Hospice Care for Children.

Performances at the Capital FM Arena will be at 7.30pm on April 20 and 21, at 2.30pm on April 21 and at 1.30pm on April 22. Tickets range from £42.50 to £125 and are available from the venue box office in Bolero Square, by calling 08444 124624 or through www.capitalfmarena.com
