Best cafe in town
“This is still my favourite cafe in Nottingham. It offers a chilled out and friendly vibe with really good handmade food - the kind of place to take a newspaper to and lose a few hours! As a keen meat eater I can safely say it's not just for vegetarians. They do a superb halloumi salad and a nice organice beer”

Alley cafe
“I've not been to the Alley Cafe for a while but this has reminded me that I need to go back. There is a good choice of light snacks and larger meals. Last time I was there I had a fab enchilada. I'm not a vegetarian but went with a friend who is and had plenty I wanted to try. It was good value too. Only probably is its quite small inside so you might not get a seat.”
