“ Celebrating my anniversary I wanted something special and Miahs definitely delivered! Staff were so pleasant,they offered great service and the atmosphere was superb. My husband and I loved the cosy decor, it was so romantic. The food was on time and perfect. Our waiter ensured this as my husband can be very picky! Overall food and service could not have been better- by far the best indian in Nottingham. I thoroughly recommend it if your in the area you will not be disappointed! ”

Romantic cosy decor and great food!

Great food and romantic atmosphere

Not sure if Miah's served Indian food or not!
“I don't know where to start with this view. We rang up in advance to check if they had an early bird menu. We were informed that they had 2 courses, with naan bread, popadoms for £8.95. We were taken to our table and the waiter was beyond rude. So rude in fact that I didn't actually know what was going on and just sat their a bit puzzled. He said the offer was not on and everyone else was having the buffet so we should too.

After asking him more questions he said he would talk to the manager to see if he could do the offer, then came back and continued to be rude looking around the room as if he didn't want to be there. We were going to leave but gave it a shot and went with the buffet. This was a bad idea.
We sampled each of the 4 curries, the Bombay potato, the rice, and each of the side dishes. If you were blind folded you wouldn't have known the difference between any of them. They were cooked with no spices and all tasted so bland.
The highly of the night were the 50p popadoms.
I can not stress enough how poor this food was compared to the range of Indian restaurants in the area. i would avoid this restaurant and that is something I don't often say. ” -

Good find
“This is a great little curry house! You wouldn't necessarily know it is there but it's a good find if you live that way. We picked up a takeaway from there recently and the restaurant looked cosy and had a pretty good atmoshpere. The food was brilliant though, I can thoroughly recommend the Sag Tikka Special - delicious!!”
