Good deals

“This is a chain place, but there are benefits to that, not least the fact that there are often some decent cut price offers on that make it an even better value place to visit. The duck is very tasty, but they also do a very decent steak covered in garlic butter. Good stuff.”

A treat!

“I really like it here. It's a great setting, relaxed but intimate enough to cater for small and large groups alike. They do brilliant offers on main courses and wine deals here, and my favourite has to be the crayfish and asparagus risotto - a real treat!”

Can't go wrong

“This place has such great offers on that people queue outside to get in for lunch! I've held a few business lunches here and they always go down a storm. Not just good value - really tasty too. My favourite dish is the beef bourginon which is served with a rich jus, pancetta pieces and a creamy mash! Mmmm!”

Le Bistro Pierre

“A chain restaurant, but a good one that has won many local awards. Offer a pre-Theatre menu which is good value and a simple bistro menu at lunch time. Would recommend a visit.”

Excellent value

“Never had a disappointing meal here. I usually go for the meat dishes and have had some fantastic duck. The early bird Christmas menu is brilliant value. I would recommend this place for couples and larger groups. The staff have always been very attentive too.”

Fab value for lunches

“Didn't realise this was a chain until I saw another one back home in Leicester as it didnt seem that way from my visit. Had a 3 course lunch for about £12 so it was fantastic value, the staff were really helpful, especially as I'm not that experienced when it comes to French food. Really enjoyed it all.”

Oui

“Another chain, but yummy nonetheless. French food is not famed for being low fat in any way, but you don't see too many overweight french people. The food here is lovely, they have a range of menus for different budgets and the service is top notch, friendly staff and if you do have a problem they do their best to rectify it as soon as possible, actually can't wait to go back again.”

Worth queuing for!!

“Whenever you see this place at lunchtime, there is always a queue to get in, but it really is worth it!! The food is delicious and served by welcoming and friendly staff, who will happily help with your choice of dish. Great food at a reasonable price. Always a favourite with my family.”
