EUROMILLIONS winners Matt Topham and Cassey Carrington are reported to have upgraded their wedding venue.

The previously cash-strapped couple who won £45 million last week, are due to tie the knot in September.

The 22-year-olds had booked the three-star Risley Hall Hotel for the big day and were cutting down the guest list for their budget wedding to 80.

But a national newspaper reported yesterday that the pair, from Stapleford, have now booked into the Clumber Park Hotel and Spa.

Cassey also plans to upgrade her Peugeot 207 hatchback for an Aston Martin, while Matt wants to take flying lessons and buy his own plane.

Mr Topham's estranged mum said she hoped the windfall improves their lives, it has been reported.

Speaking to a national newspaper, Julie Gamble said: "I hope it changes their lives for the better.

"It's a staggering amount. From what I can gather they are very much in love."

She said she hadn't spoken with Mr Topham for several years and had joked about needing a lotto jackpot before her son's huge win.

When asked if she would be seeing her son, the 49-year-old said: "That's his choice at the end of the day, he knows where I am."

The couple, of Stapleford, won the jackpot last weekend.

The windfall puts them seventh in the list of the largest jackpots ever won in the UK.

“After a recent meal I had at Risley Hall eating at Greggs would be an upgrade!”

“Is there a massive difference in upgrading from Risley Hall to the Clumber Park hotel and Spa? I'd have thought with their new budget they could go for 5-star luxury somewhere.”
