ONE person was taken to hospital after a crash involving a lorry and a car in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.

Police were called to the incident on the A611 at around 4.30am today.

The road has been closed between the junctions with Diamond Avenue and Coxmoor Road.

The closure will remain in place while an investigation into the incident takes place.
