Thieves steal £100,000 worth of stable equipment

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole £100,000 worth of horse riding equipment from a Notts farm.

It happened at Holme Farm in Swinderby Road, Collingham, near Newark, between 1am and 8am today.

Police say the thieves took Schultz Western horse riding tack and associated equipment including Ifor Williams two horse trailer, Equitrek two horse trailer with living accommodation, a Claydon horse solarium and a Yamaha quad bike.

All the items are distinctive. Anyone with information is asked to call Notts police on 01636 605 999 ext 7616 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
