Leaders Wollaton ready for in-form Mansfield

WOLLATON regained top spot in the Nottinghamshire Premier Cricket League in the double programme over the Bank Holiday weekend even though they lost one of their game to Papplewick.

This weekend they travel to face in-form Mansfield Hosiery Mills – the only side to register wins on both days of the Bank Holiday against Farnsfield and Attenborough.

Clifton Village retained second place due to winning draws against Caythorpe and Kimberley and this week they are at home to mid-table Welbeck who have settled into decent form recently but will be without the influential Martin Dobson this weekend.

Farnsfield and Attenborough are still without a win, Farnsfield taking on Caythorpe at home this week and Attenborough away to Plumtree.

Papplewick are at home to Kimberley. Both are currently showing indifferent form at the moment but are well capable of turning it on so neither side will be complacent.

West Indian Cavaliers are at home to Cuckney who are enjoying a good run and will be looking to get a good result against the current champions.
