A man needed stitches to the head after attempted robbery in Clifton
A man was injured after receiving a blow to the head with a metal pole during an attempted robbery.
The 19-year-old man sustained a cut to his head when he was attacked by three men who were trying to steal his bag.

The incident happened at around 7pm at the junction of Brinkhill Crescent and Woodsford Grove in Clifton on Wednesday, November, 28.
The victim was walking home when he was approached by one of the men who asked him for the time.

He responded and the man then asked to see his watch.
A second man then grabbed him around the neck, demanding that he hand over his bag.
He was stuck twice on the hand with a metal pole, in an attempt to make him drop his belongings.
A third man was with the other two, but did not participate in any violence.
The victim began to struggle and managed to get out of the offender's grasp, before running to a nearby house.
As he reached the door he was struck on the head by the metal pole, the three suspects then fled.
The victim required stitches to a head injury and had a swollen and bruised hand.
