“Oldfallopian and voxpopuli - as part of your law studies you might also like to look up the phrase "presumption of innocence"”

“Vox, it is a term specifically referred to in section 3 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 and is a component part under that section of the offence of sexual assault.
Prior to 1st of May, 2004 (when the new statute came into force) the conduct in question was referred to as indecent assault and would have been prosecuted under the Sexual Offences Act 1956.
(Top marks for your " early bird slap-headed groper" by the way - made me laugh out loud)”

“Is there such an offence as "sexual touching" as the article suggests? I would have thought it is, and always has been, called a sexual assault?
Hopefully this early-bird slap-headed groper will be busted soon, and the hard-up lags in the clink can show him what being on the end of a sexual assault is like”
