Perry, Mills set to miss Stags-Luton clash

MANSFIELD Town striker Kyle Perry and skipper Gary Mills are set to miss tomorrow night's big game with Luton Town.

Perry came off early on in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Eastbourne with a thigh problem.

He is currently receiving treatment and is unlikely to face the Hatters at Field Mill.

Mills missed the weekend's clash with a slight hamstring injury and illness.

He is expected back in training today but is more likely to be available for the trip to Ebbsfleet on Saturday.

"There was no point in being stupid by having Kyle play on and then having him out for the Christmas period. We haven't go a big enough squad for that," said manager David Holdsworth.

"We had him in for treatment yesterday and at this point we don't believe he will be available against Luton – he won't be training today.

"Gary overstretched against Forest Green trying to put the ball in the back of the net, but he will probably be available for the weekend."

But the Stags will have right-back Gary Silk at their disposal after he served a one-match ban against Eastbourne.
