Dorman hat-trick inspires first win

NETTLEHAM Reserves striker Steve Dorman hit a hat trick as his side registered their first win of the season, triumphing 5-0 at Pinxton Reserves.

It was a day of shocks in the Abacus Lighting Reserves Premier Division as Radcliffe Olympic suffered their first defeat of the season, mid-table Ollerton Town Reserves winning 5-0 at Wharfe Lane.

Leaders Southwell City Reserves were held to a goalless draw by third-placed Clipstone Welfare Reserves, who remain unbeaten.

Kiveton Park Reserves returned to the top of the table after thrashing Kimberley Town Reserves 9-0.

Danny Harrison and Paul Gregory both hit hat-tricks for the Yorkshire team.

Dominic Clark hit a hat-trick as Calverton Miners Welfare Reserves beat Bulwell Town Reserves 5-1.

The top four are unchanged in the Buckingham Insurance Supreme Division.

Second-placed Harworth Colliery Institute had the chance to regain the leadership, but went down 2-1 at Sutton Town AFC.

Harworth took the lead through Matthew Dawson, but goals from Ben Greenhough and Matthew Dawson gave the home team victory.

It was a third win in a row for Sutton, who move up to fourth place.

There was an away win for Newark Town, who beat Harrowby United 2-1 after being behind at half time. Goals from Gareth Dobb and new signing Lewis Pree earned them the victory.

Westella and Willerby retained the leadership of the Black Dragon Premier Division.

Thoresby Colliery Welfare, under the new managerial team of Steve Ward and Paul Parkinson, had high hopes of pulling off a shock result at the East Riding club, but the long journey ended in defeat as the home team cruised to a 4-0 victory.

A Dave Gordon goal and a penalty gave Westella a 2-0 half-time lead, while two strikes from Dan Boneham doubled the score in the second half.

Louth Town remain on Westella's heels after keeping their 100% record intact.

They beat Kiveton Park 3-0 with goals from Jason Callerby and Jamie Rowbotham and a penalty converted by Jordan Waldren.

Louth are a point behind the leaders with two games in hand.

Parramore Sports remain undefeated in third place after they thrashed Bentley Colliery 5-0 at The Avenue.

Paul Clements hit a brace, with Tom Stubbs, Andy Dawson and Gavin Davies the other marksmen.

In the Abacus Lighting Reserves Supreme Division, Carlton Town Reserves opened a four-point lead over second-placed Heanor Town Reserves as they beat Graham St Prims Reserves 4-1.

Goals from Luke Thomas, Nathan Lovett and Sam Goodson gave Rainworth Miners Welfare Reserves victory over Radford Reserves 3-2. Rainworth move up to third place.

Dunkirk Reserves got the better of Forest Town Reserves, winning 3-2 at The Academy.
