TWO green entrepreneurs are to speak at an environmental business seminar next week at the University of Nottingham.

Nottingham courier service Pedal Express director Chris Beattie will teach new entrepreneurs how to exploit the low carbon economy. He took over the business in 1998 which delivers goods by pedal bike, electric and biofuel vans in cities across the country.

Renewable energy company Sasie Ltd's managing director Mo Kelly, will also speak at the event. The firm installs solar panels, rain-water harvesters and wind turbines.

The OnCourse Innovation Leadership event, hosted by Nottingham Development Enterprise, starts at 6pm on Thursday, January 21 in the Sir Colin Campbell building, in Triumph Road. Organiser Sandra Rose said: "The low carbon economy is an important area for businesses as eco-friendly products and services are more important than ever."
