BILLY Davies today praised his players for equalling Brian Clough's record run of seven consecutive home wins and then challenged: "Let's get another run going away from home."

The Reds face a trip to Coventry City tonight, before visiting Doncaster on Saturday.

And, after seeing Forest remain their remarkable run of form at the City Ground with a 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, manager Davies wants to see his side get back to winning ways away.

"It is a great achievement and we can be very proud," said Davies (pictured).

"I have spoken to the players about it, because they have now also only lost one game in 21 matches, which is a phenomenal achievement.

"Hopefully, I can have as long and as successful a career as the great man himself did.

"Sheffield Wednesday was a real tough game, coming off the back of our first defeat in 20 (at Derby).

"We showed great bottle and discipline to equal that record of consecutive home wins, which we can be proud of."

Davies does not expect an easy ride at the Ricoh Arena tonight.

"We don't believe we have any easy games left," he said.

"But, if we can put together another run of games without defeat, it will help our efforts to remain up there towards the top of the table."

Davies says the fans have a big part to play.

"We have sold our 3,200 allocation of tickets tonight and a slightly bigger allocation at Doncaster," he said.

"The fans are very important because they get behind us. We have 17 games and 12 weeks to go and there is a fantastic challenge ahead of us.

"There is no complacency, nobody is getting ahead of themselves. But I have reminded the players of the great run they are on.

"This is a great position for the club to be in at this stage of the season."

Davies may restore Raddy Majewski to the starting line-up, after revealing that the midfielder had become unsettled by the failure to tie up a permanent deal for him.

"My advice to him was just to come back into the side and do what he does best, which is to be somebody who can create and score goals, to make things happen," he said.

"He has to forget about any situation off the pitch."

Despite admitting his frustrations, Davies says he remains committed to the club.

"There is not a chance in hell that I will walk away from this great challenge that we face between now and May," he said.

"I can promise the fans that, under no circumstances, is there any chance of me doing anything else than trying to drive this team forward."
