Julian Lloyd Webber returns to Nottingham to play Elgar's Cello Concerto, which has become something of a signature piece for the cellist. During an interview with The Telegraph Julian said, " I have played this extraordinary piece of music many, many times, but its fascination never leaves me and I always look forward to returning to it."
Nottingham Youth Orchestra is delighted to be hosting this return performance to the Royal Concert Hall, which features as part of their Best of British Prom Concert. The evening will also include the NYO playing Holst's Perfect Fool, Walton's Crown Imperial, Coates' Knightsbridge March and Vaughan Williams Greensleeves. Join us at 7.30p.m.for a rousing celebration of British music in the tradition of the Henry Wood Promenade Concerts.
