Please feel free to infer whatever you like, even though you've been quite wrong up to now. Inference is rather like the faith that supports religious beliefs'- pure conjecture unsupported by evidence.
I'm not a journalist or going through " an unhappy time" as you quaintly put it, but in a way it's a pity I'm not a Christian, because if I were, I could be offended at your comments for being hateful and negative, and take my case to a tribunal.
Incidentally, is it true that if someone offends your Christian beliefs, it can take seconds, sometimes even minutes, to get over it?
It was fairly certain that any adverse comments about the church, especially legitimate ones, would be met with the patronising "inference" that my audacity must have sprung from some sort of moral deprivation or mid life crisis. Let me assure you this is not the case, and even though my post concerned Christian beliefs, I would take exactly the same attitude towards any life denying crackpot culture that embraces the sort of beliefs that would embarrass a tenth rate novelist.
