“I guess someone has spotted the flaw in sticking leaflets on the bins.
I for one, do not appreciate the icy, late night check in the dark, to establish which bins are due for collection this week. However, sending leaflets out by post is a not a very smart or economical alternative. There are other publications that could include this information.”
“Its totally shocking that the City Council are spending £500 per every thousand householders to send out leaflet cards by second class mail outlining refuse collection dates when in the past stickers have been placed on the bins giving the dates. If the collectors now refuse to do this why not send out in the local Arrow Mag. Further it should be noted that compost bin collections end at the end of October and yet leaves from trees fall well into December. The last time I complained about this I was told it was to save money!! Yet the Council don't consider wasting same on sending out these pamphlets do they ?
