“No. Now behave before you get put on the naughty step...

That said however, it's a shame god gave her the life threatening illnes to begin with. Since he/she/it knows everything and would have known she's be cured, you'd have thought god wouldn't have put her and her family and friends through it in the first place. What an odd character this god is.”

    “I agree-

Surely god is clever enough to know the benefit of cutting out the middle man, or men. Why doesn't he just cure all sickness and disease, thus reducing the workload of NHS staff ?”

“The answer to your question, Slappyslap, as everyone knows, is that the illness was placed on this unfortunate woman as a test of her, and her family and friends' faith in their belief of him. It's just like god put fossils in the earth that appear to be much older than they really are as a test too.”

It must be a real slap in the face for the faith jockeys when that old thing called truth keeps getting in the way.”

If the loving god as described in the bible is all seeing and all knowing as some of us choose to belief, and in addition is perfect thereby infallible and incapable of making a mistake, then surely it follows that god has no need to test us, that if we fail we'll be forgiven anyway, and that god already knows the outcome of any test so could spare us the suffering in reaching a conclusion already known?”

“Hashimoto, your previous postings have made clear your lack of belief in God, and your cynicism about organised religion. However, your regular posts go beyond what the average non-believer would do. You seem to be devoured by an obsession to taunt believers. In all sincerity, I would like to know what drives you to taunt and bait those who do believe in God.”

“Grammamamma, I appreciate your point of view but I used to believe in god and prayed every night for two years that i would win the Euromillions and it never happened. And I was going to give all of the jackpot winnings to the church as well but then I thought that the church doesn't really need the money so I had decided to give it all to charity. But like I say, I never won.”

“I too plan to give a good portion of my lottery winnings to charity - if I ever win. But I wouldn't ask God to help me with this because there are far more important things for him to do, and people who need his help far more than I do.”

Because I feel morally obliged-nay, compelled- to remind those who support religion, what a load of pernicious, evil, hypocritical, homophobic, misogynistic, interfering, life sucking drivel it is.”

“I think there's more to it than that. Your choice of adjectives shows quite a violent attitude to religion. I don't think the average person who does not believe in religion would have such a strong hatred of those who do believe. It's not good for you to harbour such strong negative emotions.”

This nutter Hasimoto posts the same obsessive drivel in the Derby Telegraph, he has several aliases and he only ever posts anti-religious blogs, nothing on any other subject. I've told him he needs to get out more and mix with normal thinking people. Either that or start baking fruitcake!”

“hashimoto i agree with your very obvious sentiment that religion is a dangerous fairy tale thats had its time on earth and needs to be fazed out, along with all the hipocracy and fear and reprehensible piety..

however, give it a rest man, its all you ever talk about, on here, on other websites.

its boring and frankly youre not as clever at it as you seem to think you are. these are questions the a year 7 could answer after 2 hours of RE, there so many disgusting things to bring up about religion and you bring up cr@p like this? lightweight..”

“Thank you for your information Dave - it's something I was unaware of.
Hashimoto - nothing I can say will do anything to change your entrenched opinions. I sincerely regret that you have decided to throw out the baby with the bathwater. There are many things wrong with organised religion, actions taken by ambitious people using religion for their own ends, but also actions taken with good intentions by misinformed people. They are not all evil. Through the ages thousands of people have sacrificed their lives in the name of their god, and I don't think they can all be wrong. Iwon't keep my fingers crossed, but I do hope that one day you will be able to see the good side of religion and find peace with yourself. God bless.”

Based on your analogy of my postings that religious questions can be "answered by a 7 year old", you seem like the ideal candidate to provide an in depth explanation of this subject.

    Over to you.”

“well, a child with a basic understanding of religion would say that your question can be answered very simply. it was gods will, and it was their time to die.

so where you gonna go with that? nowhere...jeez man, if you want to come across as a man with a poignant message about the fallacy of religion, then really dont come out with that amateur toss..its like using "why do bad things happen to good people?" to disprove religion. if you actually knew anything about what it is you claim to be against you'd know that question and its answer are basic, elementary aspects of religion, have been "answered" many times.

you sound like a teenager who thinks he's cleverer than he is. be an anti theist by all means, in fact the more the merrier, but get better at it, learn something, and for gods sake get a hobby”

“I don't know where you got the opening quote from, but if it was intended as an answer to the question of gods existence, then it must have been composed by the seven year old in your previous reference.

Also, I have never used the expression about "why do bad things happen to good people"
You're statement about the "elementary aspects of religion being answered" is untrue, because despite shoving it in our faces for over 2000 years, the most elementary aspect, as in the existence of god, has still not been answered.

And I suggest that you are the one in need of a hobby, preferably a writing course that teaches how to express yourself better and make a valid point that's not punctuated with convoluted nonsense and lacking in relevance.”

“Congrats dave-you managed to use the word "sorted" instead of "soughted" (?) and in the right context! Try moving on to a seven letter word tomorrow.

Anyway,I must say I'm very disappointed that you haven't come up with a topic. I wouldn't mind so much if you admitted you're inability to write more than two lines of nonsensical drivel, because ignorance is remedial and you could have lessons in how to put an argument together.

So get on with it dave.”
