Thisis Valentine promotion terms
- This promotion is open to any Thisis registered user in the United Kingdom, who is aged 18 or over. This promotion is not open to employees of the Promoter or employees of companies in the Daily Mail Group or their families, agents, agencies or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion. Entries are not limited per registered account.
- To enter participants must write a comment on the ‘Valentine’ article linked in the email to any Thisis site following the instructions below.
- The prize offered is a two-night, weekend stay (Friday night & Saturday night) for two adults at The Dog and Partridge Inn in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. The prize includes breakfast, cream tea and a glass of bubbly on arrival, plus a-la-carte main course meal (up to the value of £16.95 per person) on the second night. The winner must book the weekend break by 30th April 2012 otherwise the right to claim the prize will be lost. The winner will be responsible for all costs of travel to and from the Inn. The prize is a standard double room for up to two people only. All rooms are en-suite and feature a flat screen TV & DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities. All room service or other charges and insurance are not included in the prize. Bookings are subject at all times to the Inn’s availability and terms and conditions. The prize is not valid on bank holiday weekends and there is limited availability during school holidays. A £10 supplement will need to be paid for dogs, per stay. Children are welcome and it is possible to upgrade to a family room for an extra £35, per child.
- The comment must be written between 3rd February 2012 and 17th February 2012.
- Comments are only eligible if the text contains the #bemyvalentine hashtag. Comments that do not contain the #hashtag will not be eligible.
- The promotion will start on 03 February 2012 at 0.00 and end on 17 February 2012 at 23:59. The Promoter may in its absolute discretion, close the promotion early.
- The winner will be picked at random from a list of all the eligible comments with the hashtag #bemyvalentine, under supervision from an independent party. The winner will be notified by the email address they are registered with on the respective Thisis site by 20th February 2012. The winner will need to respond to this email to confirm the prize. Failure to do this, within 2 days of the email being sent, may mean the prize is redrawn and offered to another entrant. In this instance, Northcliffe Digital reserves the right to choose another winner from the list of all the eligible comments with the hashtag #bemyvalentine, gathered within the period of 3rd February 2012 and 17th February 2012, as per the original terms and conditions of entry.
- The Promoter may refuse to process comments for entry into the promotion, at its discretion, if they appear to be automated or in-breach of Thisis House Rules or not to be genuine.
- The Promoter’s decision on all matters is final and we will not enter into correspondence or discussion with entrants.
- The name of the competition winner will be published on the Thisis websites. Competition winners may be required to take part in publicity.
- No cash alternatives or substitutions, prizes are not transferable. The prizes are non refundable and no change will be given where only part of the value of the prize has been used.
- If any circumstances out of the Promoter’s control mean that the prize advertised is not available, the Promoter will provide a prize of equivalent value.

The other 2 tokens will need to be collected from 2 different copies of the Nottingham Post between Monday 23rd January and Saturday 28th January 2012.
