Nottingham Post

ONE interesting question is: Can Experian continue to grow in Nottingham? Is the labour pool big enough and educated to the standard that a growing company can remain in the city without the need to open further offices elsewhere?

"The people here are fantastic, they have brilliant skills and I am really impressed with what they do," says Craig. "I am always worried in any city I work in: are we able to keep up our standards... continuing to recruit and grow? I haven't hit any bumps in the road so far.

"But I always ask my teams how the recruitment pipeline is looking. We try and be ahead of the curve. Experian is a strong brand, so people do want to come and join us. It looks good on the CV. We may have become a global company but at the end of the day, our spiritual home is here in Nottingham, so we are committed to being here.

"We play a big role in the community. Last year, we did 10,000 hours of community service, so we have a big role to play here. And our people like being in Nottingham."
