Another city bookmakers robbed
POLICE are investigating a robbery at a city bookmakers.
A man made off with £500 cash after threatening staff at Ladbrokes in Ilkeston Road in Radford around 12.50pm today.

Ladbrokes in Ilkeston Road, Radford, was targeted by robbers today
A Notts police spokesman said no weapon was believed to have been produced in the raid.
It is the second on a city bookmakers within the last 10 days.
The Coral shop in Sneinton Dale was raided on Tuesday December 23.
Five other robberies have taken place at bookmakers in the city since November 17.

“There seems to be a lot of bookmakers turned over each week theyve either got no type of security or theyve got too much money from the punters to worry! do they not have shutters they can bring down or some type of gas that the persons behind the counter can spray? or a 30,000volt stun gun that paralyses the assailant? or even a great big Rottweiler they can set loose on these parasites? good lord they must have money to burn If they cant be bothered to protect their staff!”
