Cracking

What is says on the tin

“Really nice sandwiches and hot food here too. Portion sizes are decent which makes for good value for money. I had a chocolate brownie and tried some carrot ckae the other day and both were really scrummy. My friend had a chocolate milkshake which she really enjoyed and the cups of tea were lovely too. A nice independent cafe.”

Best homemade food in the city

“This is a great spot for lunch for a few reasons. Firstly, everything is homemade - no processed rubbish here. Secondly, the food is delicious - try the lasagne or chille con carne - they're mouth wateringly good. Thirdly, it's independent and run by a local Notts resident. Fourthly, it's licensed.... I can go on. Yes, it can be hard to get a table - but for a very good reason.”

Mega Sandwiches

“I've only ever had sandwiches and cakes here but they are one of the best in town. Fresh ingredients, a great selection and made to order. They are massive so will keep you going all day. You can sit inside but it is always rammed so ge there early. The Brownies are also massive and brilliant! Highly recommended”

“It's nice to have something a bit different for lunch now and then, and if you fancy something more personal, Homemade can provide. With a list of fillings and bread to choose from, you can have your lunch made just how you'd make it at home, if not a little more pricey. If you're dining in, get there early, as rooms is tight, but the deserts are worth the squeeze! The prices are a little higher than the average gafe, but this is not your average cafe.”
