WELSH stand-up Rhod Gilbert has booked in to the Royal Concert Hall for Monday October 25.

It's part of an extension to his tour, Rhod Gilbert & The Cat That Looked Like Nicholas Lyndhurst.

Gilbert rose to fame with appearances on The Royal Variety Performance, Live At The Apollo and Michael Mcintyre's Comedy Roadshow.

Last year's tour, which included a sell-out at Nottingham Playhouse in October as part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival, involved tales of duvet tog-ratings and mince pies.

He is currently developing a TV sitcom with Babycow, the production company run by Steve Coogan and Nottingham comedy writer Henry Normal.
