“ This is a good place to soak up a bit of Nottingham's real history and the guided tour is very informative and useful. The only drawback with this place is the slightly strange opening times, as you have to make sure you have planned ahead before you go. A must see for visitors. ”

“my children found it too scary and were petrified most of the way around (aged 6 and 3!). I, however, thoroughly enjoyed it! It was very educational, lots of interaction with 'period' characters and action/ sound effects. The children were particularly bothered by the make shift Anderson shelter complete with air raid sirens! Would be fabulous for older children!”

“I'm not sure how I feel about caves in general, I think I've watched too many horror films, but the Nottingham caves are a great place to visit and get over your fears. After you have collected your hard hat you are guided through them stopping in various locations to hear about its history. The guides give you fascinating information dressed in costume from the time and in character. An exciting day out for all the family ”
