“ I've been here a number of times, to see both performers and pantomime. It has beautiful architecture both outside and inside, helping give it a traditional and intimate feel. I've always sat in the stalls and had a great view, but watch out for seats on the side near the front, which may only offer restricted views. ”

“The Theatre Royal is a fantastic venue for Theatre, music anf more. You get a real sense of intimacy here when you go to a performance. Seats are comfortable with enough space for your legs! (Something I usually have problems with at a venue). There are plenty of bars on each floor for an intermission treat. From the outside the building is impressive and it delivers inside too.”

“Inside and outside the Theatre Royal is very traditional, and staff at the theatre royal do a lot to make the evening a special one. Pantomimes are really good here, and because of the location in the city it attracts quite a few good shows and performers. ”

“I visited the Theatre Royal recently after a few years, and it was a relief from the massive arena. It's a prime venue for more intimate theatrical affairs and after becoming so used to watching most of the action from a big screen next to a stage, to be able to see the performance directly on the stage was a welcome change. The traditional interior added to the atmosphere of a great theatre visit.”
