Rooms with a view!

Rescue Rooms is a great night out, with a room to offer something for everyone. You can start the night with some good food to set you up nicely for a great night of dancing to some great and mixed music. Great for Gigs too, as the main room is ideal for more intimate gigs!

    Rescue rooms

“A great venue for live music or just for one of the weekend club nights. It's a bit of a sweatbox at times, and definitely attracts a largely student crowd, but is great for a relaxed night out without any of the pretentiousness of some of the bars in areas like the Lace Market. I agree with the previous reviewer about the food - its always welcome after a few drinks!”

    Superb little venue

“The Rescue Rooms is a superb little venue as an alternative to the larger Rock City. With a capacity of around 500, it’s a great place to see up and coming artists in an intimate setting. The food is perfect for a night out. Try the curly fries!”

    Good night out

“Rescue Rooms has a little bit for everyone. Around the corner from Rock City it supplies more of an indie feel. If you go on a Saturday night the main bar get rammed just before they open up the doors to the club, but once they do there is more than enough space to move/dance/drink or all of the above. It offers several types of music to suit all punters, you can even go into stealth next door on a Saturday for the same entry fee. The red room upstairs is also great offering a smaller venue for various music from hip hop to 60's funk and soul.
Bar food is also good for a pre-booze meal.”
