Big names at the big arena

This arena attracts some of the biggest names to the East Midlands. I've been here a few times, including to see Katy Perry, and I've never been disappointed. It 'only' holds 10,000 - meaning that it has a more intimate feel than some larger arenas, and wherever you're sitting, you should have a good view.

    Fantastic

“I love nottingham arena, I always go to watch shows here. I have a great day out shopping in the city, get a hotel and go here to watch a show before hitting the bars and clubs. I have seen many shows Little Britain, X factor and britains got talent to name a few. I have to say the best of all was seeing Leona Lewis totally magical. I like the arena has it is not too high and you can never get a bad seat. The refreshments are good value and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The staff helped my mum on the stairs get to her seat which I thought was really nice. I will always go here. The next show on the list is Alan Carr and I can't wait.”

    Great venue

“I love the arena - it brings some really big acts to Nottingham, but is so much smaller than somewhere like Wembley that you are guaranteed a great view wherever you sit. In the last year I've seen Tim Minchin and Lady Gaga there. Both very different experiences but both awesome. We were no more than five metres away from the stage for Gaga and tickets only cost £45 - unlikely to happen in bigger, better-known arenas.”

    Great Venue

“Have been here for various events. We came to see The war of the worlds live and we were absolutely blown away. The effects were amazing and considering how many people were rammed in it still felt like a very personal experience. We also saw Kings of Leon and we were standing quite near the front, amazing sound and the bar was a bonus. The concrete stairs on the way out are a tad scary though.”
