Young people to have say on riots
YOUNG people from Nottingham are being invited to a debate on the riots which hit the city earlier this month.
The event, at the Council House, has been set up for 13 to 25-year-olds to have their say on the disturbances.
People there will be able to put forward their questions and opinions about the disturbances to key decision-makers in the city.
They include city council chief executive Jane Todd; Nigel Cooke, who is chief executive of the One Nottingham regeneration group; criminologist Martin Glynn; Peter Moyes, chief executive of Nottingham City Crime and Drugs Partnership; chief superintendent Simon Nickless, Divisional Commander of Notts Police's city division; and Dr Chris Packham, executive director of Public Health at NHS Nottingham City.
The event will be held between 1pm and 4pm on Friday.
Call 0115 837 9474 to attend.
