Workshop to offer advice for academies
BUSINESS advisory firm RSM Tenon is to host a free workshop in Nottingham for those involved in academies and schools that are set to become academies.
The event, on Tuesday, February 26, will be held at RSM Tenon's Nottingham office from 6pm to 7.45pm.
The workshop will provide guidance in light of a new audit committee ruling which sets out recommendations on how financial decisions, risk management and governance should be managed.
The workshop is aimed at school heads, principals, finance directors, governors, audit committee members and chairmen of trust boards.
