Work on £7m expansion to Heymann Primary School in West Bridgford set to start
WORK is due to start tomorrow on a £7 million extension to a West Bridgford school.
The expansion at Heymann Primary is being done to meet increasing demand for places in the town.

Classroom
A new annexe building on the site of the former West Bridgford House office block will be constructed, accommodating 270 children and boosting capacity at the school to 630 pupils.
In addition, 39 new full-time nursery places will be provided.

Councillor Reg Adair, chairman of finance and property at the county council, said: “The expansion of the Heymann Primary School will go a long way towards meeting the high demand for school places in West Bridgford.
“I am especially pleased that nursery provision is being included in the new development, giving parents greater choice at a time when childcare costs are a major concern for pre-school children.”
