A SEARCH of woodland as part of attempts to find a missing Notts woman has drawn a blank.

Officers had been combing an area of woodland off Whinbush Lane, Calverton, as part of an inquiry into the disappearance of Debbie Starbuck, 44. She was last seen around April 27, 2010.

The woodland had first been cordoned off last Thursday (Jan 24) but searches were delayed by heavy snow.

The search started again on Monday but this morning a Notts Police spokeswoman said nothing had been found at the site and the search in that area has been called off.

The cordon at the woodland has now been lifted.

Mrs Starbuck's husband Jamie Starbuck, 36, of no fixed address, is charged with her murder and is next due to appear in court on May 10.
