Wilson moves up rankings
OLIVER Wilson moved up to 36th on the World Rankings after he finished tied 17th in The Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
After making a good start with a 66, the Coxmoor-attached professional struggled over the next three days, shooting 73, 70 and 71.
He said: "I didn't score well all week but it wasn't a bad performance overall."
Wilson and the rest of the circus have now moved to the Blue Monster course at Doral, in Miami for the World Golf Championships-CA Championship which starts on Thursday.
"I'm feeling good for Doral," said Wilson. "My game is consistent but I do need to take the next step up."
Lee Westwood finished tied ninth in The Honda and remains ranked fourth.
Colombian Camilo Villegas has moved from 21st to 12th in the world after his victory.
