Welbeck: A football club in Welbeck has been awarded £409,000 by the Football Foundation.

The grant for Welbeck FC will be used to improve facilities at the club, including new changing rooms, a pavilion and football pitches.

The club worked with consultants Fundsport UK, based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, to secure the cash.

Welbeck Colliery Miners Welfare raised £10,000 towards the project.
