MORE than 40 acts are preparing for Southwell Folk Festival in June.

Headlining the festival, next to Southwell Workhouse between June 10 and June 13, will be Demon Barber Roadshow, Four Men and A Dog and the Ukulele of Great Britain. Other performers include Julie Fowlis, Vin Garbutt, Rory McLeod, the Tom McConville Big Band and Benny Gallagher.

The Gate to Southwell Dance Procession is on Saturday, June 12, when teams of morris dancers perform between Nottingham and Southwell.
