Drivers are being warned to take extra care this morning, Monday, after snow overnight in a number of parts of Notts. Slush and ice, rather than snow, are set to cause the main problems. Notts County Council has said its gritters have been out overnight, but with the snow falling not all roads will be be clear. Its advice is to take care and allow more time for journeys.

Nottingham City Transport says there are no diversions on its bus services, with all services are following their normal routes.

As of 7am, no schools in either the city or county are closed due to the weather.
