WINTRY weather is set to hit sports fixtures hard for the second weekend running.

Currently there are no problems with the staging of Nottingham Forest's vital Championship home clash with Watford tomorrow.

With under-soil heating in place, the only threat is if more snow hampers approaches to the City Ground.

However, Notts County's League One clash at Rochdale and Mansfield's Blue Square Bet Premier clash with Fleetwood have been called off.

Carlton's Evo-Stik Division One South table-topping clash with Grantham has also been postponed due to snow, along with Hucknall Town's game against Belper.

Pitch inspections are planned at the NCEL games involving Long Eaton and Shirebrook.

Nottingham Rugby will check at 9am on Sunday to see if their home clash with Leeds later that day will go ahead.
