Victim of Edwinstowe crash is named
A WOMAN killed in a car crash near Edwinstowe has been named by police as Margaret Jones (above).
The 68-year-old, of Sandbach, Cheshire, died at King's Mill Hospital from multiple injuries she received in the crash on the A6075 at about 9am on Sunday.
Witnesses are urged to ring Notts Police's Crash Investigation Unit on 0300 300 99 99.
Audrius Mickevicius, 40, a Lithuanian national, appeared before Retford magistrates on Tuesday charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Mickevicius, of Newark Road, Ollerton, has been remanded until March 23, when he is scheduled to appear at Nottingham Crown Court.
