BMIBABY is offering loved-up Notts couples a chance to win free flights if they make a successful Valentine's Day marriage proposal.

The airline has linked up with the Nottingham Post to give men and women the chance to propose through our pages. And ten lucky couples will be able to fly away and celebrate their engagement in style.

Entrants can submit a picture of themselves and their partner, complete with a message of proposal, which will be featured in the Post.

Men will get their chance to pop the question in the Post's special Valentine's Day supplement on Tuesday.

Roles will then be reversed to give women their opportunity to propose through the paper on February 29, as is the tradition on a leap year.

A bmibaby spokesman said: "Make this an unforgettable Valentine's Day and take the opportunity to propose to your loved one."

Bmibaby is offering ten pairs of tickets to fly couples to one of Europe's most romantic cities.

"With love in the air, you'll be able to take off to one of our romantic destinations to celebrate that magical moment," the spokesman added.

The flights can be from either East Midlands Airport or Birmingham, to destinations including Paris, Venice, and Alghero in Sardinia, Italy.

People can also choose flights to Malaga, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Amsterdam.

All flights should be taken by August 31 this year and are subject to availability.

If you would like to pop the question and have a chance of winning a flight, simply send a photo of yourself and your loved one, complete with your names, ages, where you live, and contact details, to Bryan Henesey, Nottingham Post, Castle Wharf House, Nottingham, NG1 7EU.

Entries can also be e-mailed to bryan.henesey@nottinghampostgroup.co.uk. Photos attached to e-mail entries should be in jpeg format.
