Pavels off the mark
I was delighted to see young Pavels Senkovs get off the mark at Bristol last week.
And he did it in impressive style, stopping Bristol's Pete Leworthy in the first round. It had been scheduled for six.

Matt Scriven
The Latvian came in for some unnecessary, harsh criticism when he was thrown in for his debut fight in front of the tv cameras earlier this year.
He lost his first four fights on points. But, with little or no amateur experience, he is on a steep learning curve.
This looked another big ask for Senkovs, who is trained in Mansfield by Matt Scriven, as Leworthy was unbeaten in four contests.
But he flattened Leworthy with a right to the jaw. He beat the count but the referee rightly waved it off.
But there was disappointment for Scriven when he lost again, 40-34 to local favourite Danny Butler on the same bill.

Napa, 31, is in the last chance saloon having lost the European title to Malik Bouziane three months ago.
Maloney hopes to the winner will get the next shot at Bouziane.
