UPDATE: A60 Mansfield Road closed after fatal crash involving lorry and pedestrian
A MAN has died after being hit by a lorry on Mansfield Road, Sherwood this afternoon.
Notts Police received a call to the scene, just outside LLoyds TSB, at about 2.25pm.

The road was closed in both directions, with buses being diverted down Perry Road and Hucknall Road.
Nottingham City Transport company said Blue Line 40 and L9 were diverted via Woodthorpe Drive and not serving Winchester Street or Sherwood shops.
