Transport minister in town to open bus station

TRANSPORT Secretary Patrick McLoughlin is to attend a ceremony to mark the completion of Mansfield's new £9 million bus station.

Mr McLoughlin will unveil a commemorative plaque at the facility on Monday.

Also at the ceremony will be Notts County Council leader Kay Cutts, the council's chairman Carol Pepper, and Mansfield Mayor Tony Eggington.

The guests will cross from Mansfield railway station to the new bus station, via a brand-new footbridge which links the two.
