Tranmere will be without on-loan Stoke striker Mamady Sidibe for the npower League One clash with Notts County.

Sidibe made his Rovers debut in Saturday's 5-1 triumph at Colchester but suffered a second-half hamstring injury.

The 33-year-old Mali international has returned to his parent club for treatment and is expected to be out for around a fortnight.

Sheffield Wednesday loanee Liam Palmer serves the final game of a three-match ban, while fellow midfielder James Wallace (knee) is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Winger Adam McGurk is facing at least a month on the sidelines due to a collapsed lung.

Victory at the weekend ended a run of four consecutive defeats for Ronnie Moore's promotion hopefuls and Ian Goodison is set to retain his place at centre-back after being recalled for a first appearance in two months.

Chris Kiwomya has a full squad available for his first game as permanent manager of Notts County.

County announced on Saturday that Kiwomya, who replaced Keith Curle on a temporary basis at the start of February, would remain in charge until the end of the season.

Striker Francois Zoko is pushing for a start at Prenton Park after coming off the bench to score twice against Bury last Friday night to help Kiwomya seal his first win.

Dean Leacock went off injured five minutes from the end of the 4-1 victory over the Shakers but the defender is expected to be fit and he would therefore retain his place in the starting line-up.
