Tramlink Nottingham's successful bid
Tramlink Nottingham is the consortium which was successful in its bid to build NET Phase Two and operate the extended network. It includes bus operator Trent Barton; VINCI Investments and VINCI Construction UK; Alstom, a world expert in urban transport; Keolis, a major international private sector tram operator; InfraVia, construction equity investment fund provider; and Meridiam, infrastructure investment provider for public/private partnerships.
Arrow Light Rail is the consortium currently operating Line One of the tram network.
Arrow Connect is the consortium which was unsuccessful in its bid to build NET Phase Two and operate the extended network. It shares many of the same partners as Arrow Light Rail, including Nottingham City Transport.
The Chilwell line will serve the Meadows, QMC, the University of Nottingham, Nottingham Science Park, Beeston, Chilwell and a 1,300-space park and ride site near the A52 Bardills roundabout.
The Clifton line will serve The Meadows, Wilford, Compton Acres, Clifton and a new 1,000-space park and ride site adjacent to the A453.
The new lines will connect with the existing Line One at the redeveloped Hub interchange at Nottingham railway station.
