Tram accounts 'overdue'
THE accounts for the consortium which runs Nottingham's tram system are overdue, the Post can reveal.
Arrow Light Rail Ltd was due to submit the records for the operation of NET Line One in 2008 to Companies House on November 30.
An Arrow spokesman said: "They have been approved and will be filed within days. The reason for the delay is that we have been waiting for advice and feedback on a tax issue that only applies to companies like ours because of the complicated nature of the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) scheme."
The accounts showed a £5.7m loss in 2007.

“With Muillions swilling about out there whose going to bother about accounts?
The piggywigs with swilly snouts will be long gone before accounts are submitted!”

“What a feeble excuse, because they make such large losses they don'y pay any tax , because accumulated losses are so large they can't recognise a deferred tax asset. Beside that it doesn't tax 11 months to get tax advice !!! Arrow already had a 1 month extension which has now been missed . Lets see what the accounts actually show when lodged.”
