Ice hockey: Nottingham U12 Tiger Cubs swept aside all opposition to win the six-team Swindon Tournament.

They racked up 54 goals and conceded just three as they dominated the opposition, after starting with a 4-1 beating of league champions Sheffield.

Next up were Southern league powerhouse Guildford, but the Tigers Cubs swept them aside, winning 4-0, before demolishing Bristol 20-0.

They followed up with a 4-0 win against Swindon A then a 12-1 scoreline over Swindon B to take their place in the semi-finals and another meeting with Swindon A.

They duly cruised to a 5-0 win to set up the final showdown with Sheffield. And led by a hat-trick from Cam Pywell, they won 5-1.

Their other goals in the final came from Martin Susters and Joe Humphries. There were individual awards for Susters, Pywell and Bradley Jenion.
